My current body of work is rooted in the act of abstracting visual information observed throughout each day. By examining the act of constructing form and space organically, intuitively, and expressively, my personal visual vocabulary continues to develop through the investigation of line, shape and color. My paintings work with color relationships that activate the visual space within them. While embracing the shallow environment of the 2-dimensional surface, space is defined and movement is guided through the composition of each work using layers and surface variances. The inspired constructs represent my curiosity for an undiscovered potential within an unfolding universe.
